Micah 6:8 is a scripture that guides us as we seek to be a community that reaches our city with the gospel of Jesus: "He has shown you, what is good and what does the Lord require of you? But to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God."
Get Involved
Justice - We join together with 23 other congregations in Sarasota and research complex community problems and offer solid solutions to officials at our annual Nehemiah Assembly drawing over 1000 people. Through this ministry we have reduced youth arrests, gotten a treatment court in place for homeless individuals with mental illness, and we are currently working to increase affordable housing in the city.
Mercy - Quarterly breakfasts with a theme, live music, trivia, and great food for the entire community. Opportunities to serve others abound on Sunday mornings. Once per year we serve Nicaraguan refugees in Costa Rica. Recently we've served our community during Covid-19 helping people who've been impacted by the pandemic with meals, financial help, and mask giveaways.
Faithfulness - Sundays at 10 am we worship - we have multiple teams you could be involved with that make our worship times special. We also believe that God has uniquely gifted you to expand his kingdom and reach people in your context - we will help you do that too. We gather for community during our Rhythm Groups at other times:
