Spoiler in a bottle?

Jonah 3 7/6/19 Well, so Ryan McBride wanted us to do some homework in Jonah before he preached it all the way through! So I got out my father, Henry Cornell's Bible and noticed that I had not read Jonah out of it after my Dad passed away and I brought the book home with me. So that leaves me with fresh insights into Jonah because my Dad-who taught Sunday School and had a Masters in Bible teaching, left notes in his Bible! I thought-Easy Homework-right? We'll see... So in the left column are these words “Prejudice, Pride, and Death” Wow. That's my Dad's opinion of what he saw in this chapter! Was it Jonah's Prejudice against the Pride of the Ninevites? If Jonah's Prejudice won out, surely the Ninevites would face God's wrath, get wiped off the face of the earth and die, right? He thought they were all Nazis and deserved condemnation! Next in my Dad's handwriting was “My plans are not God's Plans!” So Jonah was really hoping God would Smite with a capital Smite the Ninevites down! But he knew-and here's a spoiler-he knew what God was really like! So-well tomorrow Ryan is going to say what the Spirit lays on his heart to say so I am not gonna be a spoiler here because Ryan and I have not talked ahead of time so make your way to 12 Springs and let's see what the prophet Jonah does next! Love and Peace, A message in a Spring Bottle!
